Lynch World Champion Turkey Call is the most perfect turkey call ever made. It is easy to operate, either with or without using the rubber bands. Fasten the rubber bands as directed, tap or push with finger tip and it makes a perfect cluck, whine, quaver or put, depending on the pressure placed on lid and rubber bands. It is automatic except for the stroke. Fasten the rubber bands as directed in instructions, hold box by anchor end and shake it sharply produces a perfect gobble. Remove rubber bands from lid and give several full strokes across top of box with lid and it produces a perfect yelp. Keep lid chalked freely. The most perfect call on earth. Made by M. L. LYNCH "World Champion Turkey Caller and Manufacturer"; 306 Edgewood Boulevard , Birmingham 9, Ala.
The Lynch World Champion
The "Turkey in the Pines" World Champion turkey call was introduced in 1954. This call is one of the most recognizable for collectors. It must have been really exciting to be headed into the woods in the 1950's with one of these in your hunting vest. The Gobbler in the Pines was printed on the side of the call used for making a gobblers yelp. The Hen in the Pines was printed on the side that produces the soft yelps of a hen turkey.
The Homewood Calls as they are known were some of the earliest know calls built by Mr. Lynch. They were made before Homewood was taken in by Birmingham's expansion in the late 1940's. Some of the calls were made in the Gibson style, but later the call components were glued together as the are today. Some were etched with markings as seen on the call to the right and many had no markings.
